| Comments: | I wanted to come to your church today for the first time, but I didn't realize there wasn't a P.M. service. I am looking forward to next week to make the A.M. service. The EVC was recommended to me. I am 25 and I have been looking for a church in this area for me and my two year old son to become a member of. After listening to your sermon online, and reading about some of your charity's I hope my search is done. I am looking forward to Sunday wish it wasn't a week away. Ashley |

| Comments: | Sunday Nov 8 was an awesome day in the Lord. The spirit of God was definitely in the house at EVC and it was evident in all of the people who decided at a moment that they also wanted to take part in baptism and what it ment. Even my boy friend took part and it brought both of us to tears. We've been attending EVC for about 4 months and we love it. It's a little different than what I was use to growing up, but the love of God is there and I witness it every Sunday from so many of the members there. They have made us feel welcome and we know that EVC is the place we want to call home. |

| Comments: | I just read Duane's post and I am thrilled at how God works. I love EVC and my new family there. I felt at home right away. No matter what kind of week I've had I know I will be touched by God each and every Sunday. The Lord carries me through the week and Sunday is like the icing on the cake. God is good!!! |

| Comments: | Adam,
I cannot begin to explain all the good things GOD is doing for Sharon and I within the last 2 months, but I am going to try.
I had quit smoking on June the 6th or 9th and I was offered my job on June 16th or 17th. About a week before starting my job, Rachael Hoffman started her new job. Rachael and I had started conversing at the coffee bar in the early part of June as I was running the coffee bar at that time. We would give each other updates on how things had gone the previous week, trying to keep each others spirits up. GOD was working with the two of us at the time and we didn’t even know it. Rachael and I exchanged email addresses and stay in touch that way as well as at church.
One Sunday as I was being a Greeter, Chrissie Ryan noticed my insulin pump and we discovered each other were insulin dependent diabetics. She recommended her Dr. to me as he is here on the east side of town and not all the way over at Riverside where my Dr. is now. I have not yet been able to contact the new Dr. but will eventually. Chrissie and I exchanged phone numbers and will call each other occasionally. I really had a reason to call Chrissie last night as I discovered my supplies for my pump had not shipped from California and that I was in need of one piece in order to continue using my pump. I called Chrissie at 9:15 last night to see if she could loan me the piece I needed until I get the situation straightened out with the people in California. She told me no problem as she had more than enough and that I didn’t need to worry about giving back to her when mine arrive. I was able to drive to her house last night at 10:00 PM to get the piece I needed. We discovered we only live 5 miles from each other.
I was talking with Carolyn Morgan on the 26th as she was signing up for the trip to WV. She was telling me she really would like to go but the price was a little steep for her right now. GOD spoke to me at that instant and suggested that I could give some money even though I am not able to go myself. So I will be giving $100 towards the WV trip and hopefully it will be enough so that 4 persons can go costing them only $75 or two persons can go and it only cost them $50 or one person can go and I will pay their way. What ever is GODs' plan, will be done.
Sharon’s health situation is not as serious as we thought and seems to be getting better also. She went to Michigan this past weekend for the Bridal shower and although a little tired, she is always in much better spirits after having gone up there.
I hope that all of this rambling of mine flows enough to where you can follow all of the great things that GOD is doing for Sharon and I over the past few months. We continue to read the Bible daily and occasionally have to miss 2-3 days in a row, at which time one of us will state, “I miss reading the Bible. Let’s get back to it.” And we do.
I told Karen as I hugged her this past Sunday that I feel the Holy Spirit moving with in our church and these are some of the manifestations of that intervention. I hope they make you feel as good as they do Sharon and me.
GOD is working among a lot of us within our church and I am sure HE will continue on as more of us discover HIS love and kindness through your telling us of how HE wants to be a bigger part of our lives if we will trust in HIM to provide for us.
Duane Martin
