Financial Benevolence Assistant for regular EVC attenders is evaluated on a case to case basis and will be confidential. You will be referred to one of our Benevolence Team Members, who will contact you as soon as possible for an interview. After the interview your request will be reviewed and you will be notified of the team’s recommendations. Generally only 1 request per twelve-month period will be considered. If you are in need of assistant, please call the church office between Tuesday and Friday 9:00-2:00PM and speak with Julie.

We have a limited food pantry for regular EVC attenders. You may receive groceries (based on your family size) once a month, based on availability. If you are in need of pantry assistance, please call the church office between Tuesday and Friday 9:00-2:00PM and speak with Julie.

At this time EVC does not have an open food pantry. Anyone in need of assistance in the Pickerington area will be referred to the Pickerington Food Pantry. The pantry is located at 15 E Columbus St. in Pickerington. The phone number is 834-0079. If there is a need outside the Pickerington area, please refer to the following web-site for assistance: www.local.com (Ohio’s online local search).

We have vouchers available for individuals ($10) or families ($20).All aid will be in the form of Kroger Gift Cards distributed through the Pickerington Police Department. The cards may be uses for either gas or food Purchases.

If you would like to make a donation to the Benevolence Ministry, you may place your donation in the offering basket, the offering boxes in the rear of the auditorium, or the Benevolence Offering Box, located near the east exit doors. Please mark checks in the memo for “Benevolence”. You may also take a grocery bag to fill with groceries and return it the next week to the info counter. Bags are located across from the info counter. Thank you for your help!
